Tonya Lea BrewerAugust 26, 1972 ~ September 9, 2017 (age 45)
It is with deep and profound sadness that our only daughter, Tonya Brewer, age 45, died Saturday, September 9, 2017 from what seems to be complications from diabetes as well as a few other things. Our minds can't fathom a world without her and our hearts refuse to face such a terrible world. She never shied away from helping those who needed help and she always did so with a glad heart. She was generous to a fault sharing whatever she had with those in need. She had a sweet smile, a quirky sense of humor, loved big hair, shoes, food, her Dachshund Jada, her car Suzy, and silly, corny jokes. Her passing has left a tremendous hole in our hearts that can't be filled until we meet again. Tonya was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale, AL. She is preceded in death by her parental grandparents, Anna Story and Roy Brewer, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Carl Eugene Lowery and baby girl, Rebecca Ann Brewer. She has a daughter, Rebecca who is with God and her precious Mimi who has been waiting for her as well as her silly Pawpaw. She leaves behind Kayleigh (Cam) Harless, Amber (Jo Marczewski) McCumsey, Gracie Giglio and her seven grandchildren, Aubrie James, Ezra, Søren and Everett Harless, Leana Melton, Oliver McCumsey, and Attycus Marczewski; niece, Kate Brewer and nephew, Jonathan Brewer, parents, Roy and Linda Lowery Brewer; brother, Edward "Ted" Brewer; maternal grandmother, Hazel Irene Lowery; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles as well as the rest of us, her family and friends. A time of visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale, AL. Rosary will begin at 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. A reception will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Hall with everyone invited. RIP my darling until we meet again. God love you all. Hug and kiss the ones you love for tomorrow is never promised.
