Carlos Wattson Hall, age 83, of Birmingham, AL went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Murray C. Hall, and Lucille Rogers Hall.
Mr. Hall was a native of Vernon, Alabama and lived in Jefferson County most of his life. He began working at age eleven. Formerly worked with Bob White Rambler where he served as service manager and mechanic. He formerly worked at Brownell Pontiac and was owner of Carlos Hall Ford. He also worked for Tafco Refrigeration Company where he was southeastern fleet manager and was owner of Carlos Hall Used Cars.
Mr. Hall was a member of Metro West #927 Masonic Lodge in Adamsville, AL where he was past master and a member of Hewitt-North Birmingham Lodge #519 in Birmingham, and also the Birmingham Valley of the Scottish Rite, and Zamora Shriners supporting Shriners Hospital and St. Jude Hospital. Mr. Hall was a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nellie Jo Hall; sister, Peggy J. Wilder (John); nephew, John W. Wilder, II (Jackie); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mack Finney officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites with Dennis Berry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
